This is a small section of Aber falls, near Conwy in North Wales.
A visit to these falls is a real treat, with the path meandering along the side of ancient woodlands with knarled, moss covered trees to get distracted by!
Once you reach the falls the photographic problems start. Have you ever tried to photograph the entirity of a tall waterfall? By the time you've fitted it all into the frame the thundering torrent has become nothing more than a trickle in the middle of a vast expanse of relatively boring scenery.
One of these days I'll try a stitched vertical panoramic, but on this occasion I contented myself with capturing the majesty and power of the falls by taking a select view showing the cascade of water thundering past.
