Llyn Alwen reservoir in North Wales is an oasis of calm and quiet compared to its larger and much more heavily visited neighbour, Llyn Brenig.
I stopped here on a beautiful, calm summer's evening with the express purpose of filming the sunset along the length of the reservoir from the dam at the southern end.
I had a wonderful time in the stillness of the evening, with light to die for and the beauty of the welsh countryside to enjoy, so it's no suprise that I stayed till well after sunset, till the light had almost all faded from the twilight sky.
