Time Lapse Video Of Sunset Over St Anne's Head From Angle Bay, Pembrokeshire, Wales #1

The story behind this video

The beautiful county of Pembrokeshire in the west of Wales, is somewhere that my wife Liz and I love to spend time exploring.

But it's too far away from our home in north Wales to allow for a meaningful day trip, so when an opportunity came our way to spend a week there in October 2025 we jumped at the opportunity.

With a stunning west facing coastline, Pembrokeshire is a fantastic region to catch beautiful sunsets out over the Irish Sea.

So every afternoon we made sure that our exploring ended at a wonderful beach, bay or harbour.

We watched and filmed this particular sunset at a remote stretch of the coast called West Angle Beach, which looks across a narrow body of water to a rugged headland called St Annes Head.

Due the time of year the sun set just south of west, which put the sunset just nicely over the St Annes lighthouse and old coastguard cottages.

What a wonderful, tranquil scene.
