A long weekend spent exploring the welsh coast around Barmouth and the Mawddach estuary in late April 2021 was just the post-covid lockdown tonic my wife Liz and I needed.
Add in a few days of glorious sunny weather and out joy was complete.
With clear skies I took the opportunity to photograph and film the dramatic sunsets over the hills and mountains of the Llyn Peninsula, visible on the horizon over Cardigan Bay from the promenade at Barmouth.
I shot this time lapse sequence on our first evening at Barmouth, without a cloud in the sky but with some large waves breaking over the seawall I found I had to delete a few frames from the hundreds taken as the camera had captured an out of focus splash every now and then!
