My wife Liz and I had just spent a lovely long weekend in the spring sunshine, exploring the welsh coast around Barmouth.
The weather turned on the day of our return home to North East Wales, but that didn't stop us taking the scenic route up to the Llyn Peninsula and the charming seaside village of Borth-y-Gest.
As we parked up on the seafront the weather was definitely threatening, so I wasted no time in setting up my camera on the sea wall to record the few hundred still images needed to create my time lapse video of the clouds rolling over the sea and land.
I also just had the time to record these few snatches of video, and a panoramic collage of still images before the heavens opened and it was a mad dash back to the car and onwards home through the very wet Snowdonia mountains.
But wet or dry, this part of Wales is just stunningly beautiful!

Filters - 2 stop neutral density graduated filter used to reduce the brightness of the sky relative to the land.
