The coronavirus lockdown of April 2020 proved to be a time when I got to appreciate the beauties of the semi-rural countryside within walking distance of my home in Buckley, North Wales.
Mind you, photographing around a housing estate can have its drawbacks, such as inconvenient buildings, cars and light pollution.
However, fortunately for me there are a few Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) near my home, set aside for the benefit of newts, frogs, toads and other creatures that you never actually see.
And it was overloooking the nearest SSSI to my house that I took the hundreds of stills needed to create this time lapse video of a beautiful display of delicate clouds catching the last rays of sunlight just after sunset, with the silhoutte of a large oak tree breaking up the skyline nicely.
I'm certainly learning to appreciate what I've got just outside my door a lot more!
