A rare sunny winter's day spent exploring the beauties of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales ended with a trip to the coast at the world heritage town of Caernarfon.
Usually I'll be found photographing the amazing waterfront castle, but on this occasion I decided on a different angle, catching the sunset over the Menai Straits from the small harbour of Victoria Dock.
The moored boats and yachts gave me some great foreground interest for my video, especially as the natural light fell away as dusk progressed into night and the white painted hulls caught the artificial illumination provided by the nearby harbour lights.
Even better, I was filming right next to the Galeri cafe, and with a serving of their excellent lobscows inside of me the cold evening didn't seem so chilly after all.
