Filming away at Deganwy on the North Wales coast, hoping for a nice sunset, I was a bit disappointed as the sun disappeared into a bank of murk on the western horizon.
But my disappointmeent was short lived as a turned my gaze eastwards to this large and volatile bank of cumulus cloud billowing overhead, and looking like a giant cauliflower in the light of the setting sun.
A quick re-orientation of my camera, plus a couple of exposure and filter adjustments, and I was away shooting this two stage time lapse video of this dramatic spectacle.
t pays to be flexible in what you plan to photograph when working outdoors, especially on the North wales coast, where conditions can change in an instant.
