An early summer's morning found me in one of my favourite local dawn locations on the slopes of my local hill, Moel Famau, part of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Normally I'd climb to the summit and back before heading off to work, but on this occasion I stayed in the car park, looking and filming down the valley between Moel Famau and its neighbour Feol Fenlli as the cool light of dawn slowly crept upwards from the eastern horizon.
Then, all of a sudden, or so it seemed, it was sunrise so I kept on filming as long as I possibly could as the sun rose up the side of Feol Fenlli, before finally having to stop and switch back into normal work mode.
Mind you, starting the day amidst so much peace and beauty, filled with wonder at God's wisdom in action, is not a bad way to spend an early morning, and well worth getting out of bed for.
