An unusually clear morning on the North Wales coast gave me the opportunity to capture this time lapse video sequence of the full moon setting over the magnificent castle at Conway.
Some light cloud cover provided interest in the sky as the moon dipped towards the hills behind Penmaenmawr, while the colour temperature of the light changed from the warm orange of artificial street lights through to the steely blue of twilight and on into the warmth of sunrise.
All in all, a lovely spectacle to start the day with, even though it did mean getting up at 3am followed by a hour's drive to the coast.
