It's a bit of a slog to get there, but the views from the top of the Sychnant Pass on the North Wales coast make the effort of the climb more than worthwhile.
From the Great Orme to the Snowdonia Mountains, a huge view is laid out below you and it's hard to know where to fiz your gaze next.
So I had to be really disciplined in my latest time lapse photo shoot from up here, concentrating soley on what I'd climbed the pass to film - the transition from day to night over Conway, featuring the iconic castle as the focal point.
So while the camera clicked away, taking a shot every ten seconds as daylight fled the landscape, to be replaced by the golden orange glow of artificial lighting, I turned my gaze westwards to watch a stunning sunset over Anglesey.
Once the sun had set the whole of the Conwy estuary started to glow with pinpricks of light as homes, streets and traffic fought to hold back the coming darkness.
Just beautiful, and still my camera faithfully clicked away at my chosen view overlooking the castle until pretty much all natural light had faded into night and all that was left was man's attempts to overcome the enroaching blackness.
I finally packed up an hour after sunset, making my carefully back down the rocks of the Sychnant Pass by torchlight, seemingly the only human for miles around as the milky way arched overhead.
I'm just going to have to come this way again to capture more of this breathtaking scenery as day fades to night.
