I'd just finished taking the hundreds of still images needed to make my Conway Sunset Timelapse #2 video, but with so much loveliness on offer that midsummer's evening on rhe North Wales coast there was no way I was going to pack up and go home just yet.
Swinging my camera through 90° gave me this great view of Conway castle and harbour front, with the artificial lights just starting to glow against the twilight sky.
With low tide exposing acres of the wet, shining mud of the Conwy estuary I knew that, as darkness fell, the mud would give a great reflection of the lights of the castle and town.
So with a fresh battery and empty memory card fitted, it was down to another hour or so's filming, before finally packing up once all the natural light had finally fled the scene and I could take the drive home, tired but happy at being able to see so much beauty in one go.
