A cold winter's day on the North Wales coast, in between Christmas and New Year, and my wife Liz and I had just finished a bracing walk along the Conwy estuary at Conway as sunset approached.
Seeing as it was only 4pm, we decided to extend our stay by watching the lights come on on Conway castle as dusk followed sunset.
We chose a spot that gave us a great view of the castle reflecting in the estuary at high tide, and I set my camera off recording the hundreds of still images required to make this time lapse video.
We watched and filmed as daylight fled the scene, until the sky was almost black, before calling it a night and heading home for some tea.
What a great way to spend an hour or so in one of the loveliest places on earth.
