The tidal estuary of the river Conwy as it approaches the North Wales coast is a magnificent stretch of landscape.
With Snowdonia in the background and an immense stretch of tidal mud flats, home to dozens of wading birds and other waterfowl, there's always something to see here.
My wife Liz and I usually park up on the banks of the river, just outside the RSPB nature reserve, and enjoy a coffee while watching the antic of the herons and oyster catchers out on the mud.
But on this occasion I was more interested in what was going on in the sky, with a weather front just clearing while trailing some dramatic cloud formations in its wake.
So it was out with the camera for half and hour's worth of filming as the heavy storm clouds moved away up the estuary and patches of sunlight started to play across the landscape.
Just a wonderful place to stop and watch, drinking in all the beauty and drama that the North Wales coast has to offer.
