Looking back on the first timelapse video sequence of sunset that I shot at this location back in May, I remembered that I'd promised myself a return trip to the fascinating location at midsummer.
Well I made the trip (10 minutes' drive), and here's the result.
As you can see, the sunset has moved more to the northwest, and is now setting on the other side of the power station compared with where it set in May.
If I want to see the sun setting behond the QE2 suspension bridge then I guess I'm going to have to move my viewpoit for next time.
Still, it was another beautiful evening and sunset on the river Dee, and well worth being out and recording the event on my trusty Canon 5D.
