A lovely way to end a day spent exploring haunts, old and new, along the North Wales coast.
Sitting on a bench on the promenade at Deganwy looking out to sea, coffee in hand and camera sat on its tripod clicking away as the sun disappears into a bank of cloud on the western horizon.
Just a little higher in the sky, the broken clouds turn orange and gold as the dying rays of the setting sun pick out tendrils of water vapour in a glorious display of colour, light and shadow.
We stay until almost all the light and colour has bled from the sky and the early stars are starting to appear overhead before tearing ourselves away for the drive back home.
What a beautiful place we are blessed to live in, North Wales.
