With lively weather, the North Wales coast is a great place to see some dramatic sunsets out over the Irish Sea.
This particular example was filmed from the beach at Deganwy, a great location looking out over the tidal mouth of the river Conwy estuary.
The large tidal range here exposes vast areas of wet sand at low tide, which allows for some great reflcections of the light and colours of the sky above.
On this occasion the tide had just turned and was flooding in up the channel as the sun approached the western horizon, setting in a blaze of colour through some low lying clouds.
And as an extra treat, just on sunset, a couple of small boats made their way up the estuary, just at the right time and place to round off my time lapse shoot nicely!
