A gentle end to an afternoon spent strolling along the seafront at Deganwy on the North Wales coast found me sitting in the recently restored shelter on the promenade, watching and filming as the sun set into a bank of sea fog on the western horizon while the rocky headland at Penmaenmawr just along the coast seemed to float on a layer of mist.
The waters of the Conwy estuary below me were catching the light from the sunlit high clouds as they swirled and eddied on an ebbing tide which slowly revealed the shoreline rocks as the wwater level dropped imperceptibly over time.
I sat entranced as the sun finally set and the warm light of day leached from the sky, to be replaced by the cool blue tones of twilight creeping across the heavens above me.
Time to relucantly pack my camera away and head back to the car for the drive home, refreshed in body, mind and spirit from having watched God's wonderful creation turning through another day.
