A stormy day on Ireland's Dingle Peninsula comes to an end as day fades to dusk over the Brandon Mountains.
As ever, I'm taking advantage of the active weather to shoot the stills for this time lapse video, sat on the porch of our holiday cottage sipping a coffee and reading a book as the camera clicks away.
Shooting a time lapse of cloud movement is quite a rapid affair compared with slower moving elements such as stars or the tide, and at an interval of 2 seconds I'd filled my memory card after just forty minutes - very civilised.
Once I'd finished I put my memory card onto download into my portable hard drive, put the camera battery on charge and went to bed to await whatever the following dawn would bring.
What a great way to spend a holiday!
