This video compilation features the wild Atlantic coastline of North Cornwall at the curiously named Duckpool Bay at the end of the Coombe Valley.
To be fair, there was a pool just behind the rocky beach, but no ducks to be seen!
And I wasn't really suprised as the stiff onshore breeze at high tide was blowing spray and spume inland from the breaking waves crashing onto the jagged rocks just offshore.
I stuggled to capture just these few seconds of video that afternoon at Duckpool, with my tripod threatening to blow over and the polarising filter on the front of my camera's lens rapidly salting over and needing constant cleaning.
Mind you, I enjoy this wild weather much more than calm conditions and clear blue skies.
Not sure about the ducks though!
