During the week that Liz and I spent on the southwest coast of Ireland in April 2017 we spent some of the time looking round some of the seaside towns that adorn that stretch of Atlantic shoreline.
One such spot was the charming town and harbour of Dungarvan, and we spent a happy couple hours walking along the promenade while enjoying a coffee and crumbly scone each.
Towards sunset we parked up on the waterfront, looking back towards the harbour and marina, and I set up my camera and tripod to record a couple of hour's worth of time lapse sequence as the sun set over the town, and dusk faded to night.
It was a lovely evening, with yachts bobbing around on their moorings as the natural light of day fled into night, to be replaced by the artifical lights of the town, reflecting in the waters below.
Well worth staying out a bit late to watch and film.
