Travelling around on a cruise ship gives one many unique perspectives on the world, views that could not be seen any other way.
And this particular view, as we sailed under the amazing eighteen kilometre long Great Belt Bridge (or Storebælsbroen in Danish), joining the Danish islands of Zealand and Funden, is an excellent example.
My wife Liz and I were enjoying a cruise around the Baltic Sea under extraordinarily benign weather conditions, and it was a must see to be out on deck for this event, camera locked and loaded to record the sweep of the bridge as we passed under it with only five metres to spare.
Needless to say this was one of the highlights of our cruise!
