Sitting on the balcony of our holiday apartment overlooking Lake Como in northern Italy, my wife Liz and I enjoyed a wonderful hour, sipping Prosecco and watching one of the most spectacular sunset displays we've ever seen.
Looking west out over the lake and to the mountains beyond we were entranced as the setting sun set wave upon wave of crepuscular rays (sunbeams to you and me) shooting through the broken clouds to sweep across the heavens above us.
This must be the lonest lived and most dramatic display of God rays we've ever seen, and I'm so glad I was set up ready to film this wonderful display.
