During our two week stay in an apartment overlooking Lake Como my wife Liz and I were treated to many and varied views out over the lake, mountains and towns of this beautiful region of Italy.
Part of the charm was the very varied and active weather that high mountains attract, with no two days or nights being the same.
This particular night and morning gave us a full moon setting over the mountains at night under clear skies before a blanket of heavy cloud swept across the heavens, just in time for the first light of dawn to turn those clouds a cool twilight blue.
The entire video only lasts a touch over twenty seconds, but encompasses three hours of actual time, most of which I spent asleep in bed.
Thank goodness for decent battery life in my DSLR, and for the suprise of seeing this time lapse for the first time.
Just magical!
