There's a sparkly new addition to the seaside attractions at Llandudno, North Wales' premiere resort, a rather large and impressive ferris wheel constructed at the start of the famous victorian pier at the foot of the Great Orme.
My wife Liz and I stopped on the promenade to admire this spectacle, not least for the very impressive and colourful lightshow adorning the hub, spokes and gondolas of the wheel.
With dusk falling the wheel looked great set against the darkening skies, so it was out with my camera and tripod to shoot what I thought would be a few seconds' video as the light patterns and colours cycled through.
But the effects of the lights was quite mesmeric, and I found myself unable to tear myself away, or stop filming for that matter!
Hence this six minute long video, in which I don't think the light patterns and colours repeated themselves at all.
In compiling the video in Premiere Pro I decided to add some jolly background music to add to the holiday vibe, but it really is worth eeing the ferris wheel in real life if you're in the area, and even having a ride if the fancy takes you!
