A couple of hours spent parked up on the Great Orme panorama, overlooking Llandudno Bay on the North Wales coast, gave me this view of the full moon rising from behind the Little Orme at the far end of the bay as day faded to night and the lights of the North Shore promenade reflected in the calm waters of the Irish Sea.
Eventually the clouds rolled across the face of the moon, putting an end to what was a quite spectacular viewing experience and signalling time to pack up and drive home.
What a wonderful place North Wales is!
