With lively weather, the North Wales coast is a great place to see some dramatic sunsets out over the Irish Sea.
One of the best place to catch the action, with great coastal features and a massive tidal range is the West Shore at Llandudno.
On this particular evening the tide was fully in at sunset which caused me a problem as, combined with a stiff onshore breeze, the spray coming off the breaking waves coated everything with a fine layer of salt, including the graduated filter on the front of my camera.
But the colours and light play in the clouds were just too lovely to miss, so I kept on filming until most of the evening's action had passed before driving home to give the camera, filters and lens a thorough cleaning.
