A brief break in the weather over the North Wales coast was all the excuse Liz and I needed to jump in the car and head off to Llandudno for a coffee and evening's stroll along the promenade.
The break in the weather exended to sunset, so we sat and watched the light show as the sun set over the Great Orme while a bank of cloud streamed by overhead.
Of course, I couldn't just watch without shooting a time lapse video of the lovely scene, and we ended up staying rather longer than originally planned as I insisted on filming as the streetlights came on, growing in intensity as the twilight slowly fled from the darkening sky.
It's a good job my wife is a patient sort, and had her knitting to hand!
