A lovely summer's evening and where else in the world would you want to be except on the North Wales coast.
My wife Liz and I decided to take full advantage of the gorgeous weather with a trip to Llandudno, culminating in a drive around the Great Orme panoramic road and on up to the Orme's summit to catch the view back along the coast.
But before we got there we stopped to check out the great view back over Llandudno Bay, with the North Shore promenade and iconic Victorian pier glowing in the late afternoon sun.
With white fluffy cumulus clouds drifing by overhead the scene was set for an impromptu time lapse shoot from a conveniently placed viewpoint, complete with a bench - what luxury!
We just stayed there for twenty five minutes, watching as the sun dropped and the shadow of the Great Orme crept slowly across the scene before resuming our plan to drive to the summit.
Well worth taking a few minutes to enjoy and record such a summery scene.
