The perfect way to end an afternoon by the seaside, for me anyway, is to spend half an hour or so shooting time lapse in the gorgeous evening light.
But, of course, you also need a stunning location to go with that lovely, warm, low angled sunlight, and where better than the North Wales coast, with beaches, sea and mountains all mixed up together.
This particular view, taking in the dramatic headlands and hills around Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan from the West Shore beach at Llandudno, is one of my favourites, especially when the moist sea air, forced upwards over the high ground, gives rise to a wonderful display of moving clouds, catching the evening light.
We are so blessed to live in such a wonderful part of the world.
