With a weather front moving in from the west over the Irish Sea, the skies above the North Wales coast were patterned with moving clouds, catching the light of the setting sun.
Ideal conditions for shooting a dramtic time lapse video, capturing and speeding up the changing forms, colours and light as day gives way to night.
So that's just what I did, sitting on the sea wall at Llanfairfechan listening to the waves hissing up and down the pebble beach while the clouds played out their dance over my head.
It only seemed like I was there for a few minutes, but actually just over an hour passed while I was filming the spectacle, entranced by what I experienced that evening on the North Wales coast.
