The beautiful North Wales coast is a great place to be at sunset, as the warm golden light kisses the shoreline and shadows lengthen into night.
Add to that acres of sand being covered by tyhe incoming tide and you've got a great recipe for a spot of time lapse photography.
So it was a chilly hour in November that I spent on the beach at Llanfairfechan as the sun sank slowly to the southwest and the sea crept closer and closer to my tripod legs, filming the rising tide against the monolithic bulk of the headland that makes this part of the coast so visually arresting.
By the time my tripod was awash was ready to call it a day and retreat to the cafe for a welcome cup of coffee.
