A lovely calm, peaceful evening on the North Wales coast, and my wife Liz and I had just got back from a walk along the seafront promenade at Llanfairfechan as the sun was setting behind a slow moving bank of cloud.
With delicately lit clouds reflecting in the still waters of the Irish Sea at high tide, the scene was set for a time lapse filming session, which lasted until the light levels had fallen away and a bank of heavier cloud rolled across the sky.
Not a dramatic scene by any means, but nonetheless a wonderful time spent just immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of the seashore.
Once I'd finished shooting the stills for this time lapse I also shot a few seconds of live action video, complete with the sounds of the sea, which you can see and listen to by following the link to my Llanfairfechan Dusk #1 video.
