The Easter weekend of 2015 provided some great time lapse opportunites, with some very interesting weather developing in various parts of North Wales.
Saturday afternoon found Liz and I doing some exploring around the Snowdonia National Park, ending up at one of my favourite places, Llynau Mymbyr, to watch the sunset.
As soon as we arrived I knew we were in for a treat as the lake was relatively calm, giving a reasonable reflection of the Snowdon Horseshoe away to the west, but what really got me excited was the lenticular cloud that had formed over the summit of Snowdon itself and was churning away catching the light of the setting sun.
An hour and a quarter's worth of shooting stills by the lakeside as the light faded to dark yielded this lovely time lapse sequence, and we drove home on a high having witnessed such beauty.
I mean, where else would you rather be on such an evening?
