By the time I came to shoot this real time video of the beautiful early morning views along Llyn Mymbyr in the Snowdownia National Park, North Wales, I'd already been on the lake shore for a couple of hours.
With a clear morning forecast in late April 2021 it was a very early start for me as I drove the hour or so from my nome in northeast Wales to capture the sunrise over the lake and peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe as a time lapse video.
After finishing my time lapse Shoot I just couldn't tear myself away from such a stunning scene, so I stayed a while longer, capturing still images of the lake, forest, mist and mountains, finishing off with this short video which, I hope, conveys a little of that ethereal ambiance of the early morning in Snowdonia.
