A couple of weeks spent in Scotland wouldn't have been complete without a day spent exploring the beautiful countryside around Loch Lomond.
Surrounded by gentle peaks of the Trossacks, Loch Lomond was a two hour drive north from our base in South Ayrshire - Scotland is a bigger country than you might think!
Anyhow, we really enjoyed our day driving around the loch, stopping at various beauty points for a bite to eat and a few photos.
Such as this time lapse video, filmed from the west shore of Loch Lomond at Luss looking northeast across the water to the rolling hills beyond as light cumulus clouds drifted by overhead, casting a moving patchwork of sunlight and shadow over the landscape.
