An excursion up to the top of the limestone escarpment at Loggerheads Country Park in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), found me arriving breathless, but just in time to watch and film the sun setting over the slopes of Moel Famau over to the west.
Once the sun had disappeared behind Moel Famau I repositioned myself and my camera to overlook the buildings, road and trees of the country park stretched out below me.
This was in order to capture this time lapse sequence showing the change from day to night, with the subdued lights of the park coming on and traffic head and tail lights snaking though the darkening landscape as the planet Jupiter slowly dropped towards the horizon.
All in all, a beautiful evening, well spent enjoying the wonders of God's creation.
