A lovely, warm sunny Saturday in late September 2020 inspired my wife Liz and I to take a drive down through Snowdonia from our home in North Wales, in order to explore the beautiful Mawddach estuary and coastline around Barmouth.
We parked up a little way outside Barmouth and walked back along the road, heading for the famous Barmouth Railway Bridge, spanning the mouth of the Mawddach estuary itself.
But on the way I was captivated by this marvellous view looking back towards Snowdonia, with mountains the background and the striking architecture of the Coes Faen restuarant in the foreground.
So a pause ensued, to allow me to take a few still images of the view and to shoot this short video, just to give a feel for the location.
