A day out for my wife Liz and myself spent exploring the beauties of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales ended with an early tea in Caernarfon followed by a two hour filming session overlooking the Menai Straits.
This part of the world is fantastic for sunsets, with big skies, interesting weather and large tides all adding to the sensory treat.
On this particular afternoon and evening in mid September we were treated to an especially colourful sunset, which seemed to last forever as the high clouds caught the light of the sun long after it had disappeared below the western horizon.
If you watch closely you can also see the tide gradually coming in and covering the foreshore wuth a reflective sheen of shimmering water.
Just a wonderful time watching God's clockwork in action.
