This iconic view of Telford's suspension bridge over the Menai Straits, joining Anglesey to North Wales has been the subject of countless photos over the years, and I'm as guilty as everyone else of parking up by the side of the road and gawking shamelessly at this beautiful view.
Well, the view wasn't so beautiful on this particular evening, with the mountains of Snowdonia wreathed in low cloud and a light drizzle falling as I munched on my butties in the layby overlooking the Straits.
Never mind though, as my primary goal in being here was to film this time lapse of the transition from day to night at the bridge, as the artificial lights gradually become more prominent as twilight fades to night.
The gloomy conditions actually helped me in this, as the change in light levels through sunset and on into night wasn't as drastic as would have been the case on a clear evening, which helps when you're trying to juggle exposures.
Anyhow, I rather like the effect achieved, and I hope you do too.
