A cold, cloudy and windy start to the day at the summit of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and I'm wondering what I'm doing up here!
The weather forecast promised clear skies at sunrise, so my plan was to film the sun coming up using the silhouette of the broken stump of the Jubilee Tower at the top of Moel Famau as a point of interest in the foreground of my time lapse video.
But the best laid plans....
Well I certainly wasn't going to let the effort I put into getting to the summit go to waste, so instead I used the tower as a stationary object against which to film the rapid movement of the clouds scudding by overhead.
Mind you - I was glad when it was time to pack up and head back down to my car for the drive home and the start of the working day!
