On March 13th 2021 Wales went from a 'Stay at home' Covid lockdown to a slightly less restrictive 'Stay local' requirement.
So I celebrated with a short drive to my local Loggerheads Country Park, with the idea of filming the sun setting behind the slopes of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding natural Beauty (AONB).
It had been a several weeks since I'd had a hill to climb, having been restricted to the relatively flat countryside around my house, so the effort of getting up to the Loggerheads limestone escarpment overlook with a fully laden LowePro and tripod strapped to my back left me somewhat out of breath.
Goodness knows how I'll cope with Snowdon once we can travel freely!
Anyhow, having reached the overlook I then spent a cold, but happy, hour with my camera clicking away capturing the hundreds of images needed to create this timelapse.
Where will these new found freedoms take me next I wonder?
