Living right next to the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) it's easy for me to just pop out and climb my local hill, Moel Famau.
I've always wanted to make a video of the experience to remind me of it when I'm far from home, so a couple of weeks ago I did just that.
Starting off in the lower car park I climbed to the top of the mountain with my Nikon D3100 hung atound my neck, taking a still image every four paces.
Having reached the summit I then came back down via the most used path, overlooking the Vale of Clwyd, to the top carpark.
From there I took the path back down to the lower carpark and my starting point.
All in all my journey took close to two hours, which is compressed into just 99 seconds for this video.
