Moel Famau Timelapse #9

The story behind this video

A refreshing breeze was blowing dramatic clouds over Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in North Wales.

Having toiled toiled up the path, which is part of the Offa's Dyke National Trail, laden down with camera gear and tripod, I decided to take a breather at the summit for a few minutes in order to shoot the few hundred still images I needed to create this time lapse video of dramatic storm clouds blowing over the ruins of the Jubilee Tower, which crowns Moel Famau.

Having shot enough frames for this 15 second time lapse I took some more time to enjoy one of the best views in North Wales before heading gently back down to my parked car.

Going back down was a lot easier than going up!
