With the beautiful, hot, sunny weather over North Wales towards the end of July 2021, trips to the seaside were definitely the order of the day.
One of our nearest stretches of coast is at Prestatyn, and my wife Liz and I enjoyed a stroll along the promenade here as the day drew to a close.
Of course, I made sure we were back on station to film the sunset over the offshore wind turbines of the Gwynt-y-Môr windfarm, the results of which are shown in my Prestatyn Sunset Timelapse #1 video.
But once the sun had set I turned my attention to the waxing quarter moon, slowly sinking through the darkening twilight sky, and it was no imposition to stay another twenty minutes or so to capture the few thousand still images needed to create this time lapse.
Two for the price of one - now that's what I call a productive evening!
