Where to go on a rainy evening in Paris?
Normal people would head to a restaurant or show, but I dragged my wife Liz to the Trocadero, overlooking the Eiffel Tower, to spend a damp hour and a half shooting the stills for this timelapse video.
At one point the rain got so bad that we had to stop filming and then re-format the memory card and start again once the cloudburst had passed - fun eh?
Never mind though, as you don't let what's possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity to pass you by just because of a little water, but I have to admit I was glad when the memory card was finally filled up and we headed back down into the Metro for the short, soggy trip back to our hotel.
On reviewing the final video I'm glad we made the effort, as the overall effect is rather charming and gives a good feel of a late night in Paris.
