Standing on the Pont de la Tournelle in the gloom of a damp Paris evening, looking out over one of the most famous views in the world.
In front of me is the Ile de la Cite with the huge catherdral of Notre Dame dominating the skyline, but for this timelapse video sequence I'm more interested in the numerous brightly lit pleasure boats that ply their trade on this stretch of the Seine.
That's one good thing about shooting timelapse as opposed to still photography, you don't need a good sky for timelapse to work in a city, which was just as well as the monotonous grey overtone just didn't inspire me to take 'normal' images of this scene.
