In the October of 2021 my wife Liz and I spent a few days exploring the Isle of Man, a tiny island situated in the middle of the Irish Sea between the mainland UK and Ireland.
Despite rather damp and cloudy conditions we had a great time driving, walking and electric tramming around the many beauty spots and points of interest.
But as usual, we soon gravitated towards a few favourite place, one of which was the fishing port of Peel of the west coast.
With a working harbour, old fashioned promenade and medieval castle, plus great fish and chips, there was plenty to keep us entertained and fed at Peel.
This time lapse video shows the extensive castle ruins, situated on an island at the mouth of the harbour, and looking suitably dramatic under brooding skies.
