When I first visited the Mediterranean island of Mallorca with my wife Liz, we were both suprised at how mountainous it was.
The Sierra de Tramuntana run pretty much the whole length of the island along the west coast, with several, very lovely, coastal towns nestled in bays along its length.
one of the nicest towns, and a place we returned to many times during our stay, is Port de Soller.
Highly photogenic, this is also a great location for shooting time lapse video as the mountains attract clouds which add interest to the otherwise clear blue skies.
On this occasion we drove to the top of the southern cliff and looked back over Port de Soller as fluffy white cumulus clouds formed and decayed over the high peaks.
Half an hour of shooting stills while we had a picnic resulted in this rather nice video.
