Living in wonderful North Wales, it's just a forty minute drive for my wife Liz and I to get from our home to any number of beautiful coastal locations.
So when the weather's looking nice we can take an impromptu trip to the seaside after tea, to walk along a beach or promenade towards the end of the day.
And, of course, to enjoy watching the light show as the sun dips down over the turbines of the offshore Gwynt-y-Môr windfarm, dotted along the horizon of the Irish Sea.
On this particular evening we were treated to a quite lovely display of light and colour, as the sun slid in and out behind the light broken cloud in the western sky and the tide slowly crept in over the acres of golden sand at Prestatyn beach.
As we sat on a convenient bench, watching the show, I (of course) had my camera and tripod out to record the scene in hundreds of still images, all ready to be melded together to make this time lapse memory of yet another gorgeous evening on the North Wales coast.
